02 November 2013, Lagos – Techno Oil Limited, a leading player in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector, says its recently commissioned petrol stations across the nation would be dispensing about 600,000 litres of fuel daily.
The company s commissioned a total of 20 new mega petrol stations across the country as part of efforts at boosting the supply and distribution of petroleum products nationwide.
The development which is also expected to provide employment for the teeming unemployed falls into place with the federal government’s aspiration to encourage indigenous investments, in turn, creating job opportunities for Nigerians.
Speaking with newsmen during the commissioning ceremony, the Executive Vice Chairman of the company, Mrs. Nkechi Obi, noted that apart from also dispensing different sizes of LPG to boost domestic gas usage, a minimum of 600,000 litres of petroleum products would be discharged daily as each of the 20 petrol stations has a minimum daily capacity to dispense over 30,000 liters each.
Each of the stations is also enabled to disburse at pocket friendly prices the different gas cylinder sizes of 3kg, 6kg and the popular 12.5 kg even as the different grades of ‘TechnoGas’ stoves would also be available at the stations and at affordable prices.
