02 August 2013, Lagos – Eleven ships are waiting to discharge petroleum products at the various oil terminals in Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), has said.
The ‘Shipping Position’, a publication of the NPA made available to newsmen on Thursday in Lagos, said eight of the ships will discharge petrol.
It says three ships will discharge kerosene, while five others will discharge general cargoes, bulk fertiliser and steel products.
The publication says 89 ships carrying different cargoes are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports between Aug. 1 and Aug. 27, and that 18 of them will arrive with petroleum products.
