Indigenous petroleum products marketer, Conoil Plc recently honoured its lubricant distributors for their outstanding performances at a colourful ceremony held in Lagos.
A total of 11 distributors across the country were recognized at the company’s maiden Distributors’ Award Night, which also witnessed the launch of two new lubricants, “Quatro Heavy Duty Genset oil” and “Golden Super Generator oil”.
The Quatro genset oil is premium quality multi-grade engine oil for heavy duty generator applications. It is made from very high viscosity index based oils fortified with tested additive technology and is recommended by leading global industrial engine manufacturers. The Golden Super oil on the other hand, is for light duty gasoline generators. The oils are specially formulated to protect and prolong the lifespan of heavy duty industrial and domestic generator sets.
Speaking at the event, the Head of Conoil’s lubricant business, Mr. George K. George, said the award was meant to recognise, appreciate and celebrate excellence.
George said: “We appreciate the support of our loyal distributors and customers over the years. We also recognise the tremendous progress we have been able to achieve as a frontline oil marketing company in the country with their support. We are glad to be associated with them as our trade partners.”
He added that Conoil is not resting on its oars, as it is planning to explore the West African market through the exportation of its quality lubricants.
The award recipients were full of praise for the management of Conoil for recognising their efforts and loyalty to the company.
One of the awardees, Mr. Oluyinka Babatunde, commending the Conoil initiative said it would spur distributors the more to support the company in meeting its business objectives.
“Conoil has been coming up with innovative strategies to grow its business, and we, the distributors, are ready to support the company in meeting its business targets,” Babatunde said.
Conoil has a range of top-quality brands of automotive engine oils, gear oils, transmission oils and multi-purpose bearing greases, formulated to keep engines running in the best condition possible.
