27 September 2011, Sweetcrude, Abuja- Halliburton have confirmed their support and sponsorship of Offshore West Africa (OWA) 2012, taking place in Abuja, Nigeria from 24-26 January 2012.
Following on from SNEPCO, Total, MODEC and ABS in confirming their involvement at the 16th annual Offshore West Africa conference and exhibitions, Halliburton have agreed to be the Registration and Badge sponsor for the 2012 event.
The 15th edition of the conference in Accra, Ghana earlier this year attracted over 1,100 attendees from 37 countries around the world, including many major operators, and with over 20% of attendees coming from outside of the West African region.
Organisers of the event said the the 16th annual Offshore West Africa, supported by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), will once again address key technology and development issues for the West African offshore oil and gas market, through a comprehensive educational programme and three-day exhibition, under the theme “Deepwater Technologies for West Africa”.
With registration free to those who pre-register for the exhibition, the organisers are urging prospective participants not to miss out on the opportunity to visit Offshore West Africa 2012 and ensure that they are at the forefront of the market “within this exciting region of the world.”
