    250 exhibitors expected at Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Forum

    31 July 2012, Sweetcrude, ABUJA – MR David Adejuwon, chairman, Organising Committee of the 2012 Oil and Gas forum, says Nigeria is expecting over 250 local and international exhibitors at its forthcoming Trade and Investment event. The event holds at Onne, near Port Harcourt, Rivers State, September 20 to 21.

    Adejuwon, the director of Trade in the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, said this while briefing the press in Abuja, on the preparedness of his committee for the event.

    According to him, the mandate of the committee was to organise an international Trade and Investment Forum on Oil and Gas to showcase the success story of the Onne Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone, FTZ, to attract more investors both locally and internationally.

    He stated that the committee had inspected facilities that would be put in place for the forum. “Also a lot of activities have been identified; timeline and assigning of responsibilities to various organisations essential to the success of the event have been outlined.
