The Minister also said that the power sector is expected to be more private sector-driven in the coming year, as the country hopes to witness the commissioning of more Independent Power Projects, IPPs.
Hajiya Ibrahim who disclosed this at the 4th quarter 2012 Power Summit in Lagos said the ministry will continue to seek the cooperation of development partners both at the local and international level to ensure sustainability of power supply along the electricity value chain.
