25 June 2013, Ekiti – Former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni and the Efon-Alaaye Community in Ekiti State have hailed the appointment of Dr. Oluwole Oluleye as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund, PTDF, describing the appointment as “well deserved and an honour to Ekiti State.”
Oni, in a letter congratulating Oluleye, said; “Your appointment as the PTDF Executive Secretary, two years after you voluntarily retired from service is no doubt a reward for your contributions to the development of the country’s petroleum sector, especially as the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, PPPRA, between 2003 and 2008.
He said he was particularly happy that Oluleye’s diligence and commitment to the service of Nigeria was again recognised and rewarded with an appointment as PTDF Secretary.
Also, Mr. Femi Ige, a community leader from Efon-Alaaye where Dr Oluleye hails from said; “We in Efon-Alaaye are grateful to President Goodluck Jonathan for honouring one of us with this prestigious appointment.
“Oluleye is not only a son of Efon-Alaaye, but also a respected son of Ekitiland, and we congratulate him for this new appointment.
“He has made us proud in Efon-Alaaye and Ekiti State in the past and we are sure that he will distinguish himself in this new assignment.
“It is therefore our prayer that the Almighty God will grant him divine guidance in the discharge of this new assignment.”
