06 March 2014, Lagos – The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) said in Abuja that it has sanctioned 57 marketers that it has found wanting for various offences ranging from hoarding of petroleum products, diversion of products and sale of products above approved prices in and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
It’s Zonal Operations Controller for Abuja jurisdiction, Aliyu Halidu also said while clarifying alleged misconceptions of statements credited to the agency during its budget defence at the Senate on Tuesday that it has developed a pragmatic approach to monitoring the supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) within its jurisdiction as soon as they are allocated from depots.
