Rovuma BasinENI estimates that Area Four holds 85 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, and the company is working on plans to develop the resource.

It is planning to build a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant and has awarded a front end engineering and design contract to a consortium of the companies KBR and Daewoo Shipbuilding and Engineering.
