28 September 2015, News Wires – DOF Subsea has reeled in a contract haul worth a total of more than Nkr3 billion ($350 million) to fuel the backlog of the Oslo-listed subsea vessel contractor amid a market slump.
An inspection, maintenance and repair contract with Husky Energy off eastern Canada will provide work for an IMR vessel and a pair of remote-operated vehicles that is due to kick off in the fourth quarter.
In the Gulf of Mexico, DOF Subsea will deploy a subsea vessel under a 10-month extension to an existing contract with an unnamed client.
Furthermore, the contractor has recently secured several awards for IMR services, mooring and light construction work in the Asia-Pacific region that will keep four vessels busy for the rest of the year, with additional contract visibility for 2016.
