18 November 2015, Asaba—An All Progressives Congress, APC, group in Delta State, Rescue Delta Media Group, RDMG, has congratulated the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, on his well deserved appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The group, in a statement by its Director of Strategic Political Communication, Dr Fred Oghenesivbe, described Kachikwu as a man of uncommon aristocratic dignity, a legal icon and a technocrat of international repute in the oil industry.

Dr. Oghenesivbe charged Kachikwu to adopt an open door policy so as to truly represent the interests of all Nigerians from the six geopolitical zones, adding that by so doing he would write his name in gold and erase doubts in the minds of Deltans that his choice was influenced by ethnic politics.

The group commended Kachikwu for his impressive performance during his screening at the Senate and urged him to be a friend and supporter of the APC Delta political family.
