20 January 2018, Jakarta – Indonesia will offer 40 conventional and 3 unconventional oil and gas blocks in a tender this year, acting oil and gas director general Ego Syahrial said
The blocks tendered are for operation under gross-split production sharing contracts, ET Energy World reports.
The three unconventional blocks comprise two shale gas blocks and one coal bed methane block
Some of the blocks have been offered in tenders in previous years but have not been allocated, Syahrial told parliament
