    Nigeria’s excess crude account hits $2.3 billion in February

    17 February 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos —
    Nigeria’s Excess Crude Account, ECA grew to $2.3 billion as at February 2018.

    According to the members of the National Economic Council, NEC, comprising the 36 governors and some ministers while briefing Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, on the balance of the various federation accounts on Thursday, the ECA, as at February, 14 hit $2.3 billion ($2,317,252,449.57 billion), while the Stabilisation Fund Account as at same day, was N11.3 billion (N11,290,664,060.06 billion).

    A document made available to journalists after the meeting also showed that as at February 14, 2018, “ the balance in the Natural Resources Development Fund stands at N123,624,644,411.24 billion”.
