    US LNG exports rise on week

    11 June 2018, News Wires – Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States rose in the week ending June 6, the Energy Information Administration said in its weekly natural gas report.

    Six LNG carriers with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 21.8 billion cubic feet (Bcf) compared to four LNG tankers, with a combined capacity of 14.4 Bcf.

    The report shows that out of the six vessels, four, with a carrying capacity of 14.9 Bcf and two vessels departed Dominion Energy’s Cove Point terminal with a total capacity of 6.9 Bcf.

    On Wednesday, June 6, one LNG carrier with a carrying capacity of 3.8 Bcf was loading at Sabine Pass export terminal.

    The natural gas feedstock to both of the terminals averaged 2.7 Bcf/d during the report week, just below the 2.8 Bcf/d the week before.
