17 June 2018, News Wires – Member nations of the Group of 20 “have to get out of coal” to reduce greenhouse (GHG) emissions and fight climate change, while natural gas can be a bridge fuel, Germany’s director of energy policy Thorsten Herdan said on Friday.
Speaking at a press conference at the close of the G20 meeting of energy ministers in Bariloche, Argentina, Herdan said he expected competition between pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to boost liquidity in the market and drive down prices.
