    Seplat board approves Q2 financial results

    26 July 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos — The board of director of Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc has approved the company’s second quarter financial results for the period ended, June 30, 2018.

    A memo by Seplat to the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, seen by SweetcrudeReports, said the approval came following the board meeting on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at its London Office to review the results.

    According to the memo signed by the company’s secretary, Dr. Mirian Kene Kachikwu, the approved results are in line with Section 1.1 of the Rules Relating to Board Meetings and General Meetings of issuers, which says there is an obligation on the issuer to notify the Exchange within twenty-four hours after the relevant board meeting of the key decisions taken by the board.

    “It is hereby stated that the company held its board meeting on Thursday, 19th July 2018 at its London Office, 50 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5JH, UK, to review and approve its Q2 2018 Financial Results for the period ended 30th June 2018”, the memo said.

    The results are expected to be filed with the exchange on July 30, 2018.
