Lagos — Monday’s trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, for energy companies closed with Oando leading the losers’ chart, owing perhaps to the crisis in the company arising from the Security and Exchange Commission, SEC, sacking of the company’s management.
Forte Oil and Japaul Petroleum recorded significant gains of 0.75% and 0.02% respectively.
Oando’s opening price stood at N4, but, closed the day’s trading with N3.85 in 147 trade deals, 6,709,184 volumes valued at 9,320,815.90.
Capital Oil’s opening price stood at N0.2, which it retained at the close of business in two trade deals and 107,839 volumes valued at 21,567.80.

Forte Oil kicked off with N25.75 and closed with N26.5 resulting, a 0.75% gained in 39 trade deals, 229,715 volumes valued at 6,186,624.25.
Japaul Petroleum started with N0.25 and closed with N0.27 in 11 trade deals and 308,900 volumes valued at 76,290.00
