Cairo — Libya’s National Oil Corp (NOC) said the North African state’s current levels of oil production are down to 97,508 barrels per day as of March 11, a statement on the state-owned company’s Facebook said late on Thursday.
The decline in output, it said, resulted in losses exceeding $3 billion since Jan. 17, following a blockade of ports and oilfields by groups loyal to eastern-based commander Khalifa Haftar.
