    TotalEnergies wins 2021 Nigerian Content Contribution Award

    Abuja — French oil giant, Total Energies, has emerged the 2021 winner of the Nigerian Content Contributions Award at the 20th Nigerian Oil and Gas Conference, NOG2021.

    The award was presented to the company by the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kyari, received on behalf of the oil company by the Executive General Manager, Government Relations, Olalere Babasola.

    The award, according to the organisers of NOG2021, is in appreciation of Total’s commiitment and contribution to the development of local content capacity in the country.

    Also awarded at the NOG2021 are, Chevron Nigeria Limited for Best Exhibitor; WalterSmith Petroman Ltd won Indigenous Company of the Year Award; while the incoming Managing Director of SNEPCO, Ms. Elohor Aiboni, emerged winner of NOG2021 Women in Leadership Award.

    Others are, DPR for NOG2021 Excellence Award; Equinor Nigeria Ltd. won Equality in Energy Award; Secretary General of OPEC, Mohammad Barkindo, won De. Alirio Parra Lifetime Achievement Award.

    Meanwhile, NNPC was announced winner of the NOG2021 Transformation Leadership Award, following its contribution and commitment to the passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill.
