15 August 2017, Sweetcrude, Lagos- The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, says it will soon commence a mass metering project to bridge the metering gap amongst customers and advance its commercial operations and financial viability.

The poor metering penetration within the company’s network has led to significant liquidity challenges and high losses.

AEDC Plc’s franchise area and distribution network currently cover the Federal Capital Territory and Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa states – an area of 133,000 square kilometers.
