24 September 2013, Luanda – A vessel carrying 1,650 litres of fuel was seized by the northern Zaire province command of the Angolan National Police in the municipality of Soyo.
The information is contained in a press note released at the weekend, which said the fuel was intended to be traded in the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
According to the note that reached Angop, the National Police recorded 55 infringements in the last seven days, which represents a drop of one case as compared with the previous week.
The source further states that the infringements were detected as a result of 18 inspection visits to various commercial outlets in the municipalities of Mbanza Kongo, Soyo, Nzeto, Kuimba, Tomboco and Nóqui.
