23 October 2013, Luanda – The average of daily oil production in Angola has already returned to the level 1.7 million barrels per day, with an average price of USD 100, announced on Monday in Luanda, the minister of Economy, Abrahão Gourgel, at the Angola/Belgium Economic Forum.
Despite of noticing success in oil production, Abrahão Gourgel highlighted at forum with Belgium Businesspeople, the dynamism of other economic sectors, such as agriculture, transforming industry, construction and market services, whose growth taxes in 2011 were set at 11%, 4, 6% and 12, 2%.
The Cabinet minister said that the figures previously displayed are result of strategy of diversification of productive structure, aiming to reduce dependence on oil sector.
The Cabinet minister also said the intense growth of agriculture, transforming industry sector, construction and market services allow improving a better distribution of national income.
