01 November 2018, Sweetcrude, Port Harcourt — The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, has set aside two days in a month across all its Integrated Business Centres in Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River and Rivers states for a special reconciliation of customers’ accounts with billing related issues.

The Port Harcourt Disco explained that the exercise which is tagged “PHED Bill Revision Camp” will be carried out fortnightly and the dates for the event would be communicated to her customers.

Speaking on the sidelines of the bill revision camp in Port Harcourt yesterday, PHED Manager, Corporate Communications, Mr. John Onyi, said that the company was determined to ensure resolution of customers’ complaints about maximum satisfaction aimed at increasing loyalty and cordial relationship.

Onyi stated that the exercise begins by 9.00 am till 5.00 pm on each day earmarked, adding that customers who have unresolved issues of over-billing, equipment failure, non-reading of meters should avail themselves the opportunity offered to get their issues resolved on-the-spot.

He called on customers to make use of the opportunity to resolve all their issues and complaints they may have with the company.

According to him, “Customers are required to fill the voluntary load assessment form which has been in circulation and return same to the office, this would enable PHED to carry out adjustment if required.

“Therefore, customers should visit any PHED office nearest to them on the set date and get their complaints instantly resolved. This is one of the ways PHED has put in place to reconcile all customers’ accounts with billing issues,” Onyi said.

The Disco further disclosed that before the one held yesterday, the bill revision camp, was carried out on 13th September 2018 and 16th October 2018 while the dates for next one which would take place in November, would be communicated to her customers.
