06 February 2014 – Helicopter contractor Bristow Group said its chief executive will retire at the end of July and be replaced by the company’s current chief financial officer.
William Chiles will step down at the company’s annual meeting on 31 July. He will also resign his seat on the board of directors. Chief financial officer Jonathan Baliff, 50, will succeed him and is expected to be nominated to the company’s board.
Chiles will stay on as a consultant for Bristow until July 2016.
Bristow provides helicopter services for the offshore oil and gas industry
The company will begin a search process for a new chief financial officer and will consider both internal and external candidates.
