    Port Harcourt — On the sidelines of NIES2026, a strategic meeting was facilitated between Chevron Nigeria Limited and Egbin Power Plc, aimed at exploring opportunities for long-term value creation within Nigeria’s power and energy landscape.

    The session, brokered by Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, brought the two industry giants together to align operational strengths and shared priorities.

    “The discussion was purposeful and forward-looking, focused on aligning operational strengths and shared priorities, marking a productive step toward stronger industry collaboration and meaningful progress across the energy sector,” the Minister said.

    This engagement underscores growing collaboration between oil and gas majors and power sector operators, highlighting a strategic approach to harness Nigeria’s energy potential while fostering sustainable growth.
