    COVID-19: NCDMB to donate ambulances, ventilators to Bayelsa, others

    Port Harcourt — As part of support to combat the spread of corona virus in the country, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, would distribute ambulances, ventilators and other medical supplies to Bayelsa, Rivers and Delta States.

    The COVID19 medical items for the three states, according to NCDMB, include include four ambulances, 10 Synovent E3 ventilators, 300 infrared thermometers and 1000 medical face shields.

    Other items in the medical kit include hand sanitizers, hospital beds, disposable coveralls, other personal protective equipment, PPEs and other relief items.

    Meanwhile, the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote has confirmed that these medical supplies would be delivered to the respective states before Friday, this week.

    Wabote also commended oil and gas industry players and government agencies for their urgent steps and supports shown so far in the fight against the deadly coronavirus.
