    Dangote prepares $160m coal mines investment in Kogi

    04 August 2016, Sweetcrude, Lagos — Nigeria’s business tycoon Alhaji Aliko Dangote has concluded plans to open two coal mines in Kogi State in an investment worth over $160 million. Operations are expected to commence within the next 30 days.

    The $160 million investment in the coal mine and another investment in agriculture and pipelines was made known in Government House, Lokoja when Dangote paid a courtesy call.

    Governor Yahaya Bello said Dangote has shown commitment to cooperate with government on security, investment in mining and agriculture to step up its corporate social responsibility
