Port Harcourt — As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to observe the Eid-el-Fitr holidays, the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, says its technical team is on the ground to resolve any issue that may impede its customers from the power supply during the holidays.

PHED Manager, Corporate Communications, Mr. John Onyi, said adequate plans have been made to enable its customers in Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Cross Rivers States to have a seamless holiday and Salah celebration.

Onyi disclosed that its offices and outlets are opened for payment throughout the holidays and enjoined customers to call its 24/7 to report faults for prompt resolution.

He particularly wished its customers especially the Muslim faithful a happy Eid- Fitr and prayed that the Almighty Allah be with them as they celebrate.

According to him, “For a seamless celebration, the company has made adequate arrangement to ensure that the technical men are on standby to tackle or fix any fault that may impede power supply in the network.

“Therefore, you are enjoined to call our 24/7 call centre, 070022557433 to report any fault in your area for prompt resolution.

“Meanwhile, at the comfort of your home, you can log on to www.phed.com.ng for online payment/vending or dial *322*1*86001*Amount# for post-paid customers.

“Alternatively, you can visit the nearest PHED office to you for payment as the payment outlets would be open for business throughout the celebration period.

“Once again, PHED wishes you happy Salah celebration.”
