    Eko Electricity Distribution Company wins award for Energy and Power Team

    20 November 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos — Eko Electricity Distribution Company, EKEDC’s Legal Department led by Wola Joseph-Ojoye; its Chief Legal Officer and her Team, has won the Energy and Power Team of the year 2018 at this year’s ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards.

    According to the statement released by the General Manager, Corporate Communications, Idemudia Godwin,

    The ESQ Nigerian Legal award is one of the most recognized awards within the Legal Industry and recognises the important contributions of the legal business community to the development of the Nigerian economy.

    EKEDC bested Messrs. Seven Energy and the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company EKEDC to win this award for the 2nd year in a row, having won this same category in 2017.

    Worthy of note also for his achievement in Legal practice, was the meritorious award of an EKEDC ‘s Director, Mr. George Etomi, as the Legal Icon of the Year 2018.

    This was in recognition of his immense contributions to the Legal Profession.

    EKEDC is frequently adjudged by industry stakeholders as Nigeria’s leading Electricity Distribution Company.
