Port Harcourt — The leadership of ESSO, successor company to ExxonMobil in Nigeria, has met with the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in the nation’s oil and gas sector.

The meeting, held at the NCDMB liaison office in Lagos, was led by ESSO’s Managing Director, Mr. Jagi Baxi, who was accompanied by Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Femi Ogunbi; Africa HR Manager, Mr. Bala Aliyu; and Nigeria HR Manager, Mrs. Emem Abraham.

According to NCDMB, the courtesy visit provided a platform for the new ESSO leadership to familiarize themselves with Engr. Ogbe and his management team, while reaffirming their commitment to working closely with the Board in driving Nigerian content growth.

The discussions underscored mutual interest in fostering stronger industry partnerships to boost local capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and expand opportunities for Nigerian participation in oil and gas projects.
