    Fashola returns as minister, Kachikwu dropped

    Lagos — Former minister for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has come back as a minister, going by the ministerial list sent by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Senate for confirmation for his second term in office.

    The list of ministerial nominees was read out at the Senate sitting by Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, Tuesday.

    While Fashola made the list, former minister of states for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu, was dropped. It is, however, not yet clear which of the ministries Fashola will handle.

    Former Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed, and former labour minister and ex-governor of Anambra State, Dr Chris Ngige, also made the list.

    Former Osun Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, former Benue Governor George Akume and former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva made the list, so also former Senate minority leader and ex-governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio, former governor of Ekiti, Adeniyi Adebayo and senior lawyer and spokesman of the Buhari campaign, Festus Keyamo..
