    Govt to complete 160,000bpd Amukpe oil pipeline

    11 August 2017, Sweetcrude, Lagos – The Federal Government in its bid to boost crude oil transportation, is working to complete the 160, 000 barrels per day Amukpe pipeline.

    Amukpe is located in Sapele, Delta State, Nigeria. The estimated terrain elevation above sea level is 11 metres, with a latitude of 5°51’38.74″ and longitude of 5°42’55.76″.

    Upon completion, the pipeline will transport crude oil from Amukpe to Escravos.

    SweetcrudeReports learnt that the pipeline will be fully operational in the first quarter of 2018.
