    Gunmen blow up Chevron pipeline

    15 August, Sweetcrude, Warri, Delta – Unknown gunmen at the weekend bombed an oil pipeline belonging to Chevron Nigeria Limited.

    Company sources said the pipeline feeds into the Dibi flowstation located in Warri North Local Government Area, of Delta State.

    No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and the company said there was casualty.

    Meanwhile, security has been tightened in the area and other oil installations in the state to forestall further attack.
