Lagos — Japan has launched the country’s first LNG bunkering vessel.
The 3,500-cu m capacity LNG bunkering vessel was birth at the Sakaide Works of Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
Vessel is expected to be delivered at the end of September.
The vessel will be based at JERA’s Kawagoe Thermal Power Station to start ship-to-ship LNG bunkering for LNG-fuelled vessels.
