    Lawmaker trains constituents on oil & gas skills in Rivers

    Port Harcourt — The lawmaker representing Rivers West Senatorial District, Senator Ipalibo Harry-Banigo, has trained youths from her constituency on professional oil and gas skills, as part of her constituency project.
    The skills include non-destructive testing, crane operation, welding, IT support system, rigging gear, rigging inspection, quality management, quality assurance and quality control, etc.
    Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the trainees at Charkins Maritime Academy in Port Harcourt, Senator Harry-Banigo urged the beneficiaries to utilise the opportunity and become productive citizens in the fields of maritime, oil and gas services.
    The lawmaker, who is the immediate-past Deputy Governor of Rivers State, assured that as a responsive representative of the people, she remains committed to ensuring that youths were positively productive and fulfill the purpose of life.
