04 April 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos – The Minister of States for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has said the Ministry of Petroleum was preparing to launch a scheme titled, ‘Project 100’.

Kachikwu made the statement on Tuesday at the commissioning of Oando’s head office, the Wings Complex, located at Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to him, the scheme will be launched in a few months time.

Providing further explanation on the scheme, Kachikwu said it would bring together 100 viable local oil and gas companies in order to see how the government could provide support in growing their businesses.

“Government is doing all it can to identify those blooming Nigerian oil and gas businesses, who need support. This will come under a new project called Project 100 to be launched in few months’ time”, he said.
