    Mass sack at AP Plc

    10 October 2011, Sweetcrude, Lagos –
    African Petroleum (AP) Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading downstream companies, has begun a mass retrenchment of staff.

    About half of the company’s workforce is expected to be sacked under the company’s restructuring plan.
    Sources said about 100 workers would be affected.

    Already, sack letters have been issued to some affected staff and it is expected that all affected workers would have received letters before the end of this week.
