    Ministry of Power, Works & Housing lost 49,000 staff since privatisation – Fashola

    05 May 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos – The Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing lost over 49,000 staffers since the privatisation of the power sector in 2013, according to Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola.

    Fashola revealed this this in Abuja.

    He said that since the completion of the privatisation of the sector, the size of the ministry has shrunk from the previous staff strength of the 50,000 to less than 1,000.
