Port Harcourt — The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, says it has been at the forefront of the first-ever conference on Local Content in Congo Brazzaville’s oil and gas sector.
The NCDMB team led by the Director of Corporate Service, Dr. Ama Ikuru, are actively engaging in discussions around the theme “Implementation of Local Content in the Oil and Gas Sector in Congo: Challenges, Balance Sheets and Prospects.”
Also, on the NCDMB team include the General Manager of Research, Statistics and Development Division, Mr. Omomehin Silas Ajimijaye; and the Zonal Coordinator of Port Harcourt Office, Mr. Victor Amabebe.
According to the Board, the NCDMB team are exchanging ideas on efficient policy development for local content in Congo’s petroleum sector.
The opening ceremony of the conference featured NCDMB Director of Corporate Service, Dr. Ama Ikuru, presenting a keynote address on Local Content Policies and Strategies in the oil and gas sector of African countries, drawing from Nigeria’s experiences.
Also, NCDMB General Manager, Research, Statistics and Development Division, Mr. Omomehin Silas Ajimijaye, contributed to a panel discussion on “Participation of National Companies and National Private Companies.”
