    New electricity tariff, NESI: NERC to hold final stakeholders forum

    The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, is set to hold a series of final stakeholders consultation forum.

    According to the commission on Monday, the meeting will centre on
    MYTO Methodology, Eligible Customer in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry, NESI, and Business Continuity for Companies in NESI.

    The first of the series which will hold in Kano will focus on how to arrive at a new electricity tariff, as well as further discussion on Eligible Customers and on business continuity regulations.

    The forum will hold for two days, Wednesday, October 4th and Thursday, October 5th in Kano.

    NERC explained that the meeting is one of a series of 2-days stakeholders’ consultation meetings to be held in all the six geopolitical zones, including the FCT, to enable the larger public make an input before it takes a final decision.

    “Accordingly industry stakeholders, consumer groups, the general public and other affected or interested parties are kindly invited to the event”.
