Tax13 July 2016, Lagos — In continuation of its tax enforcement exercise, the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, yesterday, sealed off the office of AMG Petroleum Energy Limited, located at 41, Usuma Street, Maitama, Abuja.

The FIRS Enforcement team, led by Assistant Director of Enforcement Unit, Anita Erinne, sealed off the premises after directing and allowing all the staff of the organisation to leave the oil company’s premises.

According to the FIRS enforcement warrant, the company has a tax debt of N27,350,579.66, incurred between 2009 and 2015. Erinne said the company would be re-opened as soon as it pays its tax debt.
