08 October 2017, Sweetcrude, Lagos —Nigeria produced a total of 227.15 billion Cubic Feet of natural gas in June.
According to June’s Financial and Operational Report published by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, 227.15BCF translated to an average daily production of 7,571.50 Million Standard Cubic Feet Per Day (mmscfd).
For the period June 2016 to June 2017, a total of 2,849.43 BCF of gas was produced representing an average daily production of 7,216.72 mmscfd during the period.
Period to date Production from Joint Ventures, JVs, Production Sharing Contracts, PSCs and Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC contributed about 68.01%, 24.36% and 7.63% respectively to the total national gas production.
