05 May 2016, Lagos — Attempts by the Federal Government to improve the ease of doing business have yielded positive results as the country climbed a step higher in the latest ranking by the World Bank.
The report released by the World Bank on its website showed that Nigeria moved from 170th position in 2015 to 169th out of 189 economies.
According to the report, there is improvement in protecting minority investors and registering property compared to 2015.
However, it noted that there has not been improvement in dealing with construction permits, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency.
