    NIPS 2018: Saipem emerges ‘Most Local Content compliant international company’

    22 February 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos — Saipem Contracting Nigeria Limited, SCNL, have been recognised as the ‘Most Compliant Local Content International Service Company’ in Nigeria.

    The award was presented to the company at the award night of the Nigeria International Petroleum Summit, NIPS 2018 in Abuja due to its over 50 years of extensive contribution to local content development in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

    According to organizers of the pioneer oil and gas industry awards, held yearly to recognize and award outstanding stakeholders in the industry, the process leading to the choice of winners was executed by leading global audit firm KPMG, with the support of experts across the award categories, with the sole purpose of ensuring “transparency and focus on competence.”
