Baru said vandalism of pipelines constituted a serious threat to national economy and the environment and called for an end to it.

He said NNPC had recorded milestones in its operations that eventually translated positively in the lives of Nigerians since July 2016.

Baru said the company also introduced numerous policies that had strengthened its operations.

According to him, the company’s operations have been conducted with transparency, accountability and in openness.

Baru said NNPC had also taken measures to recover about 130 million litres of product misappropriated by some companies recently, adding that it would soon recover about N11 billion from one them.
