25 November 2015, Sweetcrude, Lagos – A Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, pensioner and a former senior employee in the Group Public Affairs Department of the corporation, Chief Edoreh Agbah, has been reportedly kidnapped by a four-man gang at Ekuigbo in Ughelli, Delta State.
Agbah, from Effurun, near Warri, Delta State, retired from the NNPC four years ago.
He was abducted on the Ekuigbo-Warri road alongside another yet-to-be identified victim.
One of his younger sisters confirmed the development, disclosing that the NNPC retiree had previously suffered the same fate in the hands of kidnappers.
The sister, who did not want her name in print, said the kidnappers have not yet contacted any member of the family as she appealed for the release of her brother and his co-victim.
Apart from NNPC, Agbah also worked with Brass LNG Limited, where he was seconded to, from the NNPC, as a director.
