30 August 2017, Sweetcrude, Lagos — The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has said its crude contracts are typically 950, 000 barrels per day, and not 2 to 3 million b/d.

The corporation in a statement on Monday while alerting the public against crude oil scammers, said the between 2 to 3mb/d is a falsified figure being peddled by scammers.

According to the statement signed by its Group Manager, Public Affairs Division, Ndu Ughamadu, the corporation’s crude contracts were typically 30,000 to 32,000 b/d which accumulated into a standard cargo size of 950,000bpd monthly and not 2 to 3 million b/d contracts.
