NUPRC team visits Jabi community, briefs district head on CSR initiatives

Lagos — In a bid to foster community engagement and promote Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, NUPRC’s, dedicated CSR team paid a visit to the district head of Jabi in Abuja.

During the visit, aimed at strengthening ties between the regulatory body and the local community, the CSR team presented an overview of ongoing and future initiatives of the agency designed to contribute positively to the welfare of the Jabi community.

The district head of Jabi expressed appreciation for the proactive approach taken by the regulatory commission in recognising the importance of collaboration with its host community.

The regulatory body said the advocacy visit marks a pivotal step toward building a mutually beneficial relationship between it and the Jabi community, adding that it has set a positive precedent for socially responsible practices within the Nigerian petroleum sector.
