    Oando, MRS share values drop at stock market

    09 October 2017, Sweetcrude, Lagos – Share values of Oando and MRS have dropped at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE.

    Data compiled by SweetcrudeReports from the NSE’s website, showed that both companies are among decliners whose prices of equities dropped within the week.

    As at last week, Oando’s share had a previous closing price of approximately N5.9, opening price of N6.1 however by Friday, the value of its shares dropped to N5.7, representing a -N0.2 slid.

    MRS’ shares with a previous price of N28.9, had an opening price of N27.4 and a closing price of N27.5, a change of -N1.42.

    On the other hand, Seplat and Mobil were among the advancers for the week.

    Seplat with N450 last week, increased to approximately N472.5 today, a boost of N22.5, while Mobil had a previous price of N161.7, and an opening and closing price of N166, growth of N4.3.

    On the value of equities issued by companies, Conoil with a previous closing price of N27.6 as at last week, had an opening price of N28 and a closing price of N28, a change of N0.45.

    Forte Oil had a previous closing price of N48.1, opening price of N49 and a closing price of N49, a change of N0.9.

    Total with a previous closing price of N241, also closed with N241, no change.

    The West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited, WAPCo, had a previous closing price of N54.1, an opening price of N56, and closing price of N57.3, a growth of N3.21.
