20 March 2018, Sweetcrude, Lagos – The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, has revised downwards world demand for its members’ crude oil by 0.2 million barrels per day, mb/d.

The group made this known in its Monthly Oil Market Report, MOMR, for March.

According to OPEC, in 2018, demand for its members’ crude is forecast at 32.6mb/d, down by 0.2 mb/d from the previous assessment and 0.2 m/d lower than a year earlier.

However, in the second half of the year, this is expected to reach almost 33.5 mb/d.
